National College of Ireland has an extensive scholarship and bursary portfolio for international students which aims to reward excellence and promote diversity among our student body.
Please ensure that you read both the specific requirements for each scholarship and the overall Terms & Conditions for NCI scholarships. To secure your scholarship, you are required to pay your fees in full within the published deadlines for each scholarship.
Masters Academic Merit Scholarships
The following scholarships are available for Masters courses starting in September and January. All students who receive an offer to study a Masters course at NCI are automatically assessed for these scholarships based upon their previous academic performance. There is no requirement for you to submit a scholarship application form for these scholarships.
Higher Diploma Scholarship
The following scholarship is available for the Higher Diploma in Science in Computing course starting in September and January. All students who receive an offer to study the Higher Diploma in Science in Computing at NCI are automatically assessed for this scholarship based upon their previous academic performance. There is no requirement for you to submit a scholarship application form for this scholarship.
Entrepreneurship Scholarship
The following scholarship is available for the MSc in Entrepreneurship courses starting in September only. There is no requirement for you to submit a scholarship application form for these scholarships.
Undergraduate Academic Scholarships
The following scholarship is available for Undergraduate courses when joining a full programme from Year 1. All students who receive an offer to study an Undergraduate course at NCI are automatically assessed for these scholarships based upon a range of criteria, including their academic transcripts. There is no requirement for you to submit a scholarship application form for these scholarships.
Sports Scholarship
The following scholarship is available for full-time international undergraduate registered students who have reached or have the potential to reach a very high level of performance competing at International, National, Inter-provincial or Inter-county level. Details about the scholarship and how to apply are available at NCI’s Sports Scholarship. Please note that the deadline for applications is July 1st 2023.
The Sports Scholarship can be used in conjunction with another NCI scholarship. The total amount of sporting and academic scholarships a student can receive may be capped in certain cases. Students who receive funding from an external sporting organisation, such as Governing Bodies, can still avail of the NCI Sports scholarship.
